Training program

A journalist is a specialist engaged in information activities in newspapers, magazines, television, radio, and other mass media. They identify socially significant facts, events, and information in order to report them to readers, listeners, and viewers, thereby fulfilling their social mission — influencing public opinion and shaping mass emotions. The educational programme “Journalism” enables higher education students to acquire professional knowledge and practical skills in collecting, processing, analyzing, and disseminating information through mass communication media.

The aim of the programme is to develop in graduates the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of social communications. The programme is focused on social communications in their various forms and manifestations, as well as the products of social communication, and provides for the acquisition of practical knowledge and skills in the field of social communications, media, and journalism.

Career prospects:
Graduates of the “Journalism” programme may work in the following professions: journalist, editor, copywriter, correspondent, PR specialist, communications manager, social media manager, video blogger, radio and TV presenter, photojournalist, technical writer, corporate journalist, video operator, and video editor.

Document on Previous Level of Education Obtained and Entrance Examinations for International Applicants:

  1. Examination in the language of instruction (Ukrainian or English language);
