The Educational and Professional Program “Diplomacy and Conflict Management” aims to train international specialists capable of solving complex specialized tasks and practical problems of diplomatic conflict resolution, peacekeeping, and post-conflict peacebuilding.
It develops the ability to critically understand and analyze global, regional, and local security challenges in their military-political, socio-economic, and humanitarian dimensions; to identify the causes, types, dynamics, and consequences of conflicts; and to apply diplomatic instruments for their resolution based on negotiation, mediation, and peacebuilding.
The Master’s program “Diplomacy and Conflict Management” provides an in-depth study of the complex and often contradictory nature of international relations as both an academic discipline and a field of political and diplomatic practice focused on conflicts and their resolution through diplomatic means, as well as the impact of conflicts on the international system and world order.
It emphasizes innovative conflict management strategies based on prevention, de-escalation, negotiation, overcoming historical revisionism, diplomacy, mediation, and other approaches. The program explores the process of ending wars and building sustainable peace: from conflict dynamics and consequences to diplomacy, peacebuilding, peace support operations, and post-conflict reconstruction.
Previous educational qualification required: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree.
